As a little girl, I fondly remember long, hot summers spent ankle-deep in the rich dirt of my Nana’s garden. When lettuce season arrived, I especially looked forward to the yummy greens we would gather and eat with Nana’s special homemade vinaigrette dressing. No meal was complete unless there was a bowl full of beautiful veggies tossed with one of her famous dressings. Now as an adult, I mostly get my greens from the local farmers’ market, but I still continue the tradition by serving my sweet Nana’s bottle of bliss with my own little personal twist! So if you’re like me, a mother on the go wanting to provide something healthy and fresh for your family, I am proud to pass on to you what my family has enjoyed for many years.
